Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
We didn't have to, though.Because we had to give up a better pick than everyone else West Coast were looking to trade with.
Isn’t the fact that 3 of them don’t deserve to be on the list a sign that is in fact a “need”. The questionable decision of upgrading mcentee should take nothing away from the excitement of the pick.Fills a need?
So we have Rioli, DBJ, SPP, Charleson, Anastasopoulos, Richards, McEntee, as small forwards, plus JHF, Rozee and Butters can also spend time forward and impact the scoreboard.
That's ten small forward types, now 11 with Berry.
That's a quarter of our list FFS!!!
Surely we have to delist at least two of them??????
We shouldn't be picking for need though, and with better players seemingly available, it seems strange to give into a possible bluff. You’re assuming we were bluffed. If the options were we are losing 45 to get the player we want and not lose him to freo, or keep 45 and get a player we don’t want at 16, I’m getting rid of 45.

5 ruckman? Will Dodson slide to our second pick
If we don't need 45, we can trade that for a future 3rd, and use pick 1 million to draft Rome.
Not surprised you back this awful list management.
Yep.Berry is good, wtf is everyone’s issue? The pick 45 the issue? Obviously freo were sniffing around, maybe it wasn’t necessary but perhaps we are looking to take Burgoyne or Barrett and don’t need pick 45 for that .
Chill out, you’re not an expert even if you think you are.
Welcome Cotton Eye
It's hinkley malaise. If we picked a tall they still would've freaked out.Do the melters feel better that ALL of the tall forwards have slid?
This. Why hang your hopes on a 3rd rounder if the club is confident this is the man. You’re assuming we were bluffed. If the options were we are losing 45 to get the player we want and not lose him to freo, or keep 45 and get a player we don’t want at 16, I’m getting rid of 45.
At what point would someone trade with us? I’d give up both our remaining picks for Shannahan or Armstronggood chance one of Shannahan, Armstrong or a Whitlock slide to 32?
Hmmmmmm makes senseWe wouldn't have after they traded with West Coast.
I’m thinking the same, might be around at our pick 93These tall forwards must be arse.
Clubs happily let Academy players slide, or bid with their second pick.It seems pretty stupid, it seems we were bluffed. It's fair for people to think the trade is silly, especially when on the surface it is ridiculous. They should be explaining the decision post this first round.
Nope. Dattoli. Everyone is passing on the talls.Surely the Swans draft one of the Whitlock twins. Armstrong or Shanahan.
Do the melters feel better that ALL of the tall forwards have slid?
Tomorrow night10 picks until we're up.
Both Whitlock's still there. Armstrong & Shanahan.
