Hope he stays on as a coach once he hangs the boots up. He could be invaluable overseeing the development of Dear, Ramsden (?), Schubert and Nairn.

Unc has already had his 1 year sabbatical at the Lions so he can stay foreverLike Punky he'll have plenty of suitors elsewhere and like Punky it might be in his best self interests to coach elsewhere outside of the Hawthorn system.
Would love to have him at our club forever though if he's thinking of getting into coaching after his playing career is done.

Rookie contracts are 1 year (?) so he will have to work his butt off to show that he's worth it.You watch Ollie Greeves highlights and there is a lot to work with, he is a big bodied mid for his age, great height, good kick for goal and has sticky hands when marking. Endurance, stamina, ability and motivation to work both ways and defensive pressure will be the area of focus to improve.
Lets hope this young man can take being a rookie pick as motivation and the chip on his shoulder and show everyone what he can do
Couldn't be found.Yes.
No NHH picked.. Nor Wes Walley?

If he wasn't getting a kick you could just call out his name !Couldn't be found.
yes, lets see what he can do! I believe he can be on there for maximum 3 years.Rookie contracts are 1 year (?) so he will have to work his butt off to show that he's worth it.
I’d say it’s a very good chance. Are we a chance to get Grieves in the Rookie Draft?
That ESPN analysis is so much better than that from the apprentices at Fox Sports.Apologies for the late message, wasn't able to log in and comment.
IMO great draft by the Hawks and work to get those extra draft picks in 2026.
Pretty happy with the draft haul and our wheeling and dealing.
Interesting write up on West Coast and how poorly they handled their trades and missed out on a number of their academy players. I love this sort of analysis and insight.
May have already been covered above but here is the link.

Grading every club's selections at the AFL Draft
The 2025 AFL Draft has been run, but which team won? ESPN's draft expert Jasper Chellappah has cast his eye over every club and handed down a grade. Who takes out the lone A+?www.espn.com.au
It's a great result for the Hawks and Greeves.Greeves is a gun again! In all seriousness too good a natural footballer not to be on an AFL list. Welcome Ollie!
