AMW I rate highly, Mcadam will probably be injured, White, Sinema, Derksen, Heath likely VFL based on us always dooming Gawns backup to VFL.

Not if, as expected, they go to 5 on the bench and the predictions about 2 rucks are correct.

And then...

AMW > Sestan
Heath > Fullarton
Derksen > Adams
McAdam (if fit) > Spargo
Sinnema > Billings in terms of future upside and our needs
White > Verrall in terms of future upside

It's all improvement, and that's before trade period has even come close to starting. Hold fire on the same old tired arguments until we see what actually happens.

I'd happily keep Trac as long as we move on Oliver. Can't keep Viney, Oliver and Trac FFS. Happy to play Trac in the F50 as a pure forward. Probably kick 40.76 but he'd be dangerous. Can switch him into the middle if needed. Oliver needs to go though. Crows could be an option if they get bundled out in finals. Their midfield looks vulnerable. But he'd have to agree to any trade unfortunately. Not sure he'd be willing to go to Adelaide. I sure wouldn't. Hole of a place. But Crows are the best bet for offloading him.

Realistically we can't really do much this offseason. Barely any draft capital and in limbo with coach. Nowhere near a flag. Not going to attract anything close to a big fish. Lamb had a great opportunity to build on a successful list a number of years ago and did f* all. We gotta ride this period out and hit the draft and bring in some younger talent getting squeezed out of a good side or showing something at VFL level. Buckley being announced might attract a Mihocek potentially. Maybe someone else that's keen to play under him?

Also must be living under a rock if you don’t think most trades are discussed/canvassed prior to actual trade period starting. Fairly rare one pops out of the woodwork, especially for notable players mid trade period.

Fairly certain we have had this same debate for the last 2-3 years only for us to make no meaningful trades.

Spargo kicked 1 goal in 10 games for us as a forward in 2025. Can’t even make the distance over 35m and covers ground like a wombat. Oppo defenders gave him next to zero respect and had a field day when on him.

That’s when he is fit.

there was simply no excuse for him to be in the condition that he was in during pre-season. since when does an achilles injury stop you from lifting heavy in the gym and getting shredded. He was in worse shape that 90% of my local gym members.

Is Flanders good? Hard to judge his career so far. Had some very good patches and seems to be flexible in terms of playing different roles.

But he also doesn’t dominate regularly.
