What would people think of a Worpel to Flanders movement? Flanders out of favour with the core mid field rotation at the Suns and they need picks to move up the draft board.

Newcombe, Day, Petracca, Flanders, Ward, Mackenzie and Nash.

One horrible umpiring decision took us from within a goal to more than a goal behind. And then they got another. But we kept fighting and clawed back a goal.

To be honest, I'm glad some of these players aren't moving. It's a bit distasteful when the finals sides just cannibalise the lower teams over and over. Let the Eagles have their fun! If they want to come here and rib us, fine by me (although I thought the poster wishing Barass ill was going a bit far). They've got nothing much to cheer them up so good on 'em for keeping the kid and I hope he stays there.

Personally, I'd much prefer we had drafted really good young mids of our own and didn't need to be constantly stalking other side's best players. There is so much player moment now, teams are like the Ship of Theseus- they've been rebuilt from parts so often the original vessel is hardly recognisable any longer! I hope we hit the draft now, find a gun of our own and answer our list issues that way.

But geez I would have loved to see Harley in The Mighty Brown and Gold.

I like the look of Josh Lindsay from the Geelong falcons.I love his left foot I think he mainly plays back flank with the potential to play midfield and he reminds me of Hayden Young @ Freo.

Also I just watched fox footy and Jon Ralph was saying we will need 1x 1st round pick and a future 1st rounder and a player e.g Ward or McKenzie for Petracca sounds like way overs.

Tell them they’re dreaming!

Petracca was 5th in the league for centre clearances and was kicking a goal a game, people are insane thinking he isn;t worth pick 8.

We didn't try and poach a player mid season? West Coasts season was over long before Sam met him.

Pick 8 is worth a flag and if Petracca can be that difference. But I also think for a 30 year old Melbourne will be keeping a chunk of his salary.
