I agree with this. 4th-6th I reckon. Bevo is ready for a run at a flag starting from a QF as opposed to EF. The run home makes it a very good chance.
I expect their second half to be stronger than their first. They should win almost every game from here. Goal kicking accuracy again the biggest factor. Tidy that up and they will be unbeatable.

Tier 1 - Collingwood, Brisbane - definitely finish top 4, proven finals experience, have defeated top teams this year
Tier 2 - Geelong - slightly below Tier 1, next most trusted team and you know what you are going to get, should finish top 4 but not guaranteed, maybe rely on stars too much
Tier 3 - Bulldogs, Adelaide, Hawthorn, Fremantle, Gold Coast - hard to seperate. have not defeated top teams this year and/or lack finals experience/top 4 finishes. each could be very dangerous if it clicks at the right time.
Tier 4 - GWS, Melbourne - will challenge for the finals, melbourne always a threat with gawn + petracca, oliver, viney, pickett, etc.
Other teams are probably ruled out at this stage.

Tier 1 - Pies, Lions - my predicted grand finalists preseason.
Tier 2 - Cats, Dogs, Suns, Crows
Tier 3 - GWS, Hawks, Fremantle - fighting for last 2 finals spots.

No one else can play finals imo.

Where do most people see the Crows at?

Last night didn't really change my opinion on them, maybe made me a little more positive. They beat up on weaker teams - and Sydney are bottom 4 quality right now, Richmond should challenge next weekend - but Sydney did bring some pressure and the Crows defence also held up. Top 4 and a prelim should be the expectation. If they beat Brisbane and Hawthorn I'd have them as premiership contenders.
The next 2 weeks will see where we are at

We are in a good position and our draw is actually quite friendly - I dont see us as Premiership contenders this year

I do think we play finals

Just did the ladder predictor and Adelaide’s draw is ridiculously easy from here on in.

Only Geelong and Carlton’s are easier and Carlton still won’t play finals 😂😂

Way too early ladder predictor, Brisbane might actually have some challenging games to come and be in some trouble.

1- Collingwood 19-4
2- Adelaide 18-5
3- Geelong 18-5 Ridiculous how easy their draw is
4- Gold Coast 17-6
5- Bulldogs 16-7
6- Freo 16-7
7- Brisbane 15-7-1
8- Hawthorn 13-10
9- GWS 13-10
10- Essendon 10-13
11- Carlton 9-14
12- St Kilda 8-15
13- Port Adelaide 8-15
14- Melbourne 7-16
15- Sydney 6-17
16- Richmond 5-18
17- North Melbourne 4-18-1
18- West Coast 3-20

Freo 16-7 ?
You’re too kind , but nah

Very easy draw coming up top 4 chance imo.
Yeh but it’s Freo , nothing comes easy .
If anything it will come down to us being at Round 25 , chewing our finger nails to the kwick and needing Essendon to beat GC ( or some other permutation ) to get into the 8

Geez, I’ll take 10-1 for the rest of the year

Tipped many upsets in here or just backing favourites mainly?

Can’t see the top 7 winning as many games as you have listed, even if they end up in those spots on the ladder.

9 teams left, put a fork in the rest.

Will be a bit of change in the order but whoever has a rough final month of the season will probably be the ones who miss out.

Either Gold Coast or GWS I think...but a bit of water under the bridge just yet.

Yeah, race in 9.

Think 1 of Hawks, Fremantle or GWS miss.

The odd upset here and there, but the top sides can probably afford to rest a few players and still win most games.

There’ll be a few defining games that might change the preen slightly. But it was an interesting exercise to see what sort of run home the teams have. Most have Brisbane as top 2, but their draw is hard after a very soft opening to the season for the reigning premiers.

Gold Coast could also fall over completely now they’ve shown they can drop home games to average teams.

The Bulldogs will be top 6 - Bontempelli and Darcy to be playing together for most of the second half of the season, and a much easier fixture compared to the first half. Still have the fourth best percentage as it stands.
Big chance, I think they’ll be movements but the top 6 teams won’t miss finals

Collingwood of 2023 or Collingwood of 2025 which side was better at this stage of the season?

Definitely feels like this year we’re better and winning more comfortably, yet % is extremely similar and we had 1 more win in 2023.
