I think he is gone. Just my gut feeling

He would have signed a contract by now if he was staying. Not sure what else to think about, im sure he has had from 2 years all the way up to a 10 year contract put infront of him.

The Best and Fairest is on the 2nd of October and the trade period kicks off on the 6th... Final goodbye me thinks.

I would be disappointed, but the club always comes first. For those saying walk him to the psd, that will never happen. A trade will get done, how good or bad for us will remain to be seen.

Please stop mentioning their players in trade scenarios. Won’t happen

Neither the Crows nor PA have the picks to get the trade done with picks alone.

They would need to trade a player, or players, either to St Kilda as part of the deal or to another AFL Club to secure picks to go to St Kilda to add to what picks the possess.

PA also have the stumbling block of needing an exemption to trade future first round picks due to previous trades.

Correct and Nas would be miserable going to West Coast so yes I’m sorry if it’s mean but don’t just accept getting dicked at the table just so we’re seen as “good to deal with”. Threaten the PSD

Being good to deal with hasn’t helped us in the last 15 years so we need to get militant about our talent and focus on developing from within and keeping them because we can’t get elite talent from outside at the level of Nas

Curtin to WCE, Nas to Crows, Reid to us.
Stuff Port ;)
And entice Reid by stating that we'll offer him the joint captaincey with Phillipou after Wilkie has had his stint, starting from next year until his retirement.

Both Georgiadis and Curtin are from WA. Reid is from Victoria. Nas is from SA.

If the big Victorian players from SA wont come, then let's go down this road. Defacto, as king of Perth, can you use your powers to convince Harley?
Harley's currently black mailing wce but wants to go to hawthorn

Sam Mitchell loves schmoozing the West Coast players over here so that doesn't surprise me.

Ross Lyon needs to improve his schmoozing game to compete with old Schmoozing Sammy.

Look I don't think he will even make it to a PSD, however if he did has to go to whoever selects him
That is correct.

Hypothetically in Nas did nominate for the PSD he would most likely be a Category 1 Player which means he can dictate his remuneration for the first 2 years:

I don't blame RTB being prickly to the press, to be honest (just watched today's presser). The press treat our team with disrespect, negativity and love to punch down on us. They would love for Nas to leave. They can all get $%^&ed.

The crazy thing about NAS is he's so good that he's changing narratives about us. We haven't had a player be this mainstream and relevant in the national consciousness. I have friends who regularly treat the Saints as a punching bag who all admit how important it is for NAS to stay for the integrity of the competition and for small clubs to be able to believe in building through the draft. It's good to see the people are mostly behind us even if the media isn't. Noone really wants to see NAS leave, otherwise whats the point in even trying?

I remember Port board debating NAS for Houston last year, and they many felt that NAS for Houston was massive unders.

Has been exposed as a pretty limited player at the Pies. Meanwhile NAS has improved to just about the best player in the comp.

I'm still in disbelief as to how good NAS has become. I thought he had peaked early and would maintain that level and the expectations were too high on him, which happens to alot of young guns that are good from game 1. But he has blown expectations out of of the water and taken his game to a level I don't think any of us ever imagined. Crazy!

So realistically what’s the best trade from either team.

Adelaide I see
Draper , Worral and a first round pick ?

Port
Berry
+ 2 firsts with at least one top 10 pick? Idk I hate both of them.
Draper is south Australian born and raised. Adelaide wouldn’t offer him and he wouldn’t agree. We may as well ask port for Rozee at that point.

Adelaide’s Vic boys are
Berry, Crouch, Rachele, soligo, worrel, nankervis, sholl, bond, butts.

I’d say of those the valuable ones for us are Rachele, Soligo, Worrel and maaaaaaybe Nankervis and in that order.

Whilst I agree I recall Dean gore being traded to Geelong in a fairly simmilar situation

Bad luck. They need to convince them

You can't expect to bring in a top 5 player in the comp without giving up something of value.
This!

Butters may not want to play for us, but IF nas does leave and IF he chooses port, and saints want picks, butters will be traded for picks that are passed onto the saints - as a starting point.

I dont think there is much chance Port next year have their same midfield, plus nas.

One eyed ports supporters don’t see this, but that’s their issue!

You want A grade talent, gotta be prepared to lose players / picks.

Well Kingy and Kane on SEN just asked Riley Beveridge where NAS would be playing in 2026 and he went with the Saints
Did say nobody actually knows but his guess was he stays put.
Pragmatists al think he stay just because of how complicated it would be to get it done. Nas is a different cat which worries me and Ben Williams wants to make a name for himself. Hopefully stays
