But what does pointing to those three mean?
I mean, in respect to my point. Which you ask about.
Well, my point is that,

Players are blooming late, or they are having a ‘bog’ but seeing an Indian summer like never before.
I can only assume it’s because of modern, nuanced training methods.

No longer do they all run sprints together. (Or if they do, they are marked differently)

Then there is improved physio, recovery, surgery etc., in addition to the the fact that we all generally live better than twenty or forty years ago.

So…
I think older players have never been more valuable…

Hence, late bloomer.

He won't, I think I raised this last year and was laughed at for suggesting Thilthorpes frame was needed in modern aFL.

But I just can't imagine Nas sitting back and saying, "Geez, Port look pretty likely, especially after I end up costing them two first rounders plus a player in the most compromised draft era in AFL. I wonder what talent they'll bring through. None, I guess. But at least they picked up Jack Lukocius, Joe Richards and Rory Atkins last year. Plus I get to play with Kane Farrel and Zerk Thatcher. And Boak's retiring. Plus Ollie Wines is 5 years past his. And I've got an untried coach to play under. Boy am I excited! I can't wait for when we play our first final in ten years time!"

If he wants to leave for Port, then good luck to him. He won't be breaking our hearts in any meaningful way. He only be ruining his career.

I think it was a case of misunderstanding.

You said “I’m all over” mature players - meaning you think it’s a good idea getting them if warranted and I think Joffaboy took it as you’re “over” it, as you’re don’t like that idea.

Basically I think you’re both on the same page.

They’re coached by their management team to alleviate pressure and speculation throughout the year, unfortunately.

True, but JHF’s body language and all round attitude at North was gross. I’m trying to find any small bit of hope to hang onto regarding Nas. His body language and form speaks volumes, but everyone is different.

Kris Pendlebury captained Collingwoods VFL team, its not unheard of. Its so far fetched that he'd get a spot on our list but if he did, and he came good, well would that not just be the greatest thing to keep Nas and screw Dons

Plenty of stable pony's out there. Nathan Ablett at GC, Justin Crawford at Hawthorn, Matthew Westoff at Port.

Anthony Harvey never set the world on fire for us. His brother went okay though. Anyone regret having him on our list?

Being Thanasis Antetokounmpo is a great living if you can get it. Might have been the extra thing that kept Giannis in Milwaukee. So far anyway

how can you be so sure? I don't understand the motive for tonight's story. does he want Port to sign Tex as well?

4 games to go. If we'd said this at the start of the year, we'd say he's gone. We said if he's not signed by the bye, he's gone. Then after the game, we said if not signed this week, he's gone. Unfortunately I think we're living in denial. He is gone.
