I've got a pinged muscle in my neck, can cause partial paralysis and frankly tank controls as my head is not supported fully when it engages.

FWIW, I'm hearing a lot of similar things about certain Collingwood players being unhappy that they're being offered unders from the club. Mihocek, Elliott, Cameron etc. So it's not just an us problem. Obviously managers everywhere are all trying to get their clients an extra slice of the pie. It's why team like Geelong and Hawthorn have been so successful, they've been able to sell a culture of success to get players to stick around for under market value. Or even re-sign them before a market even is even established

Geelong have the best competitive advantage in the comp - the only true home ground in Victoria. Oh and it doesn't hurt that every player gets a cheap farm property and a car. Makes taking "unders" a far easier proposition. I wonder how Chris Scott's role as Chief Of Leadership is going at Morris Finance?

Windy is continuing to improve as a player. He understands our systems and structures and is able to both be in a position to receive the ball, or go and get it himself to give it out. He's increasingly important to our fortunes and often sacrifices his attacking game by taking a defensive position as insurance if we lose possession. That shows he thinks about how the play is unfolding and puts the team first.

He is versatile and his kicking is nowhere near as poor as myths would have it. He's about to blossom. Nex year he'll be heading towards A grade status. He shows leadership. Evidence: last centre clearance against the Demons!

Really don't want to lose him.

Feel like i'm taking crazy pills when I see the conversation around Windy. We've been crying out for genuine mids for years and we finally have one who's 22 and getting better and better, and now we want to let him go?

He's been one of our best players this season, especially in the back half of the year. For every Judd, Cousins and Kerr you need a Stenglien. For every Ablett, Bartel, Selwood you need a Kelly. Role playing, defensive mids are just as important as the stars. Josh Dunkley is probably the most underrated and selfless player in the comp. Windy has shown a defensive and offensive game and has far more weapons than many give him credit for. He's a must keep in my opinion.

Absolutely. This is why I think these stupid contracts offered to TDK and Aleer could completely derail us. If TDK deserves 1.7 then clearly Nas deserves 2.2. If a VFL defender deserves 750 then a starting 18 mid deserves at least 850.

This feels like another Paddy McCartin pick 1 fiasco coming up. A boneheaded decision which will set us back many years, entirely of our own doing.

The bloke is tearing it up and being one of the top 3 players in the competition with us. Stay with us the future is certain, Brownlow media contention, huge money and the chance of becoming a superstar of the game.

Jesus, I just don't get this "homesick" nonsense at all. It's Adelaide...not the f*cking frozen Tundra of Greenland.
In the modern world one can talk to and see their family through all sorts of modern mechanisms. It's not like you have to raise pigeons and attach little notes to their tiny f*cking legs hoping the Golden horde of Ghengis Kahn doesn't shoot it down to feast upon its flesh and find out where you live. Times have moved on...possibly even improved depending on opinion.
