I do love how everyone is obsessing over the Steele Nas Windy interviews but conveniently ignore the Marshall interview that talked about NWM increasing his leadership capacity around the club in recent times

And at team meetings in particular.

That had me convinced Nas was staying. And I’ve been optimistic all the way through.

Then I saw the channel 7 interview and the tone of it was very deflating.

Why wouldn’t he announce he is staying if he is? I hope I’m wrong but my faith has been shaken.

He said with absolute relaxed confidence that he is "very confident" that Nas stays and that "Saint's supporters should rest easy". He was so relaxed and confident when he said it. Joey had no reason to say it. He didn't even just say "confident", it was "very confident ".

I said 2 weeks ago if he was staying he would have announced it already. No reason to delay. So nothing changed. I think he'll announce he's going after the final round.

I don't think Butters will want to come to us. So
I think Bergman, Georgiadis and future 1st will be it.

No chance. Both are contracted. They're worth more than Nas is currently.

It'll be a future first and something else small thrown in as a sympathy gesture. Bassat will hem and haw about the inequality of it all.

Love the back and forth on Nas and want to be a believer but if he is going to sign a new contract with saints why wait THIS LONG.if he is leaving the no answer makes sense.

Every week he stays unsigned to saints is a bad omen. Why wait to the absolute end of season to sign unless you’re already decided you’re leaving.
