2025 List Management Discussion - Part 3

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Thanks to Lore once again for this incredibly useful spreadsheet.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period:
Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th

Can’t imagine why Armoo would lie, he’s been around for ages. So I’ll assume there is truth to it.

I think it will look like an exodus if we lose most our leadership group this trade period - wilkie, ro, steele.

Having said that, i completely understand why we would trade most of them, right price, ample cover, etc.

Gonna be a wild trade period.

Have we considered the hostage possibility?

The timing of the Steven King appointment and May news makes me giggle. King clearly not ****ing about! Love to see it.

Generational change.

Pushing forward, in to serve, a clutch of talented lads with 60-100 games of experience who will also benefit from an influx of seasoned recruits.

Bold but timely.

Dogs supporters are the shelby villians

From memory outside of GWS (bunnies) they have beaten a total of 5 top 8 teams over the past 3 years.

I'm not sure Wilkie as good as he is, is good enough to elevate their aging list above their current status as the best of the also rans.

But hey, 2 of their players were injured you know!

I feel like this is a parody account but I’ll share it regardless.

I reckon it’s mostly accurate and I’m usually accused of being a bed wetter.

Roma is so obviously going to be looking that makes perfect sense but it also doesn’t seem like he’s aggrieved at all and clearly we’re only doing that deal if it suits us.

Steele is likely similar but I also imagine financial re up likely factors in for him.

Wilkie ain’t leavin.
