Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

I was keen on Aleer but rate this move.

We have told the Giants what we are paying and we aren't paying more.

They have already signed Laverde as a replacement too

I imagine Saints and Geelong were a fair way off in initial talks for getting a deal done. We've probably said hey come back to us with your best offer on the last day, we'll take it or leave it. In the meantime both clubs can focus on other deals, perhaps Curnow is a priority for Geelong right now.

Don't mind that strategy, we'll get the absolute best they're willing to offer when all the dust has settled.

Im dreaming, in all honesty, I hazard a guess that we are just posturing. I am resigned to the fact that SDK isn't coming if Marshall leaves, I will be unhappy with anything that doesn't involve F1.
