Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Iām not sure about the players - but Jack Silvagni is definitely gone.
And where does that get us?The first of several big names i hope.
Was just wondering what I am missing with him.Big yes to Jiath if available

Or Hollands or CottrelIf we miss out on him, that is reason enough that Lloyd must go. Regardless of what has gone before. Absolutely incomprehensible list management. Newman should have been on the lti list to open up a spot for us to list this bloke.
SOS will bid on everyone to turn up the heat on the AFL to abandon father son and academy players in the 1st roundWe need to finish below St Kilda at all costs.
St Kilda were one of the clubs last year that pressured Essendon with a trade threat for their first-round pick - warning theyād place a bid on Kako otherwise.
Hopefully they donāt pull the same move with Dean.
Saints will win two of the last three. We might beat Essendon. We need to finish below St Kilda at all costs.

I reckon we'll beat Port too. They've got a skeleton side at the momentSaints will win two of the last three. We might beat Essendon.
Peter Dean might actually knock him if he did. Would be poor form for an ex-team and premiership comradeSOS will bid on everyone to turn up the heat on the AFL to abandon father son and academy players in the 1st round
Curnow and a F3 (roughly 43) for Bailey and a F1 (roughly 16) is really bad and leaves heaps on the table.Iād rather trade Curnow to Brisbane than GC. Though they might not have the cap for Curnow and Draper.
The below is probably achievable.
FA Out
TDK: Pick 8
JSOS: End of First
Trade
Brisbane: Curnow + F3
Carlton: Bailey + F1
Eagles: Cripps & Motlop & Acres & Bris 2nd
Carlton: Chesser + Hawks First + Eagles 2nd
Saints: Eagles 2nd
Carlton: Darcy Wilson
Melbourne: JSOS Compo + F2 Carlton
Carlton: Lever + F2 Melbourne
DFA: Rosas
Draft Picks 2025 (before bids):
TDK Compo 8 - Best Available
Hawks First 15 - Dean
3rd - Riley
4th - Ison
Draft Picks 2026:
F1, Brisbane F1, Melbourne F2 & F4.
2026 Team
FB: Newman - Weitering - Haynes
HB: Hollands - Lever - Chesser
C: Walsh - Lord - Wilson
F: Pittonet - Cowan - Cerra
HF: Bailey - Kemp - Williams
FF: Rosas - McKay -Moir
S: HOK, Hewett, Carroll, Hollands, Cottrell
Brings in the speed and foot skills that we desperately need.
Not like he'll have any competition for his spot with us.Was just wondering what I am missing with him.
Great wheels, neat disposal...recall him having a good game against us which we all know is mandatory in a trade target.
Hamstrings are made of tissue paper - think Gov has that role in our squad at the moment.Big yes to Jiath if available
A few back this week. But yes i hope we beat them.I reckon we'll beat Port too. They've got a skeleton side at the moment
Unfortunately done his ACL on the weekendā¦
Curnow is 29 next year and has had 3 knee surgeries this year alone. His value whilst still high, isnāt crazy atm..Curnow and a F3 (roughly 43) for Bailey and a F1 (roughly 16) is really bad and leaves heaps on the table.
Bailey would be roughly worth around pick 12 on his own and going off past big player trades weād get 2 x 1st round picks before even considering trading Curnow.
Cripps (31) - Pick 15 and a 2nd rounder (16 pick) upgrade seems fair to me. If he wants to go home.Cripps, Motlop, Acres and Bris 2nd for Chesser, Hawks 1st (15) Eagles 2nd (20) is really bad.
Chesser will be a DFA, he has no current, Acres and Motlop would both get us a 3rd round pick, so you are giving Cripps away.
Trade for Lever is ok but why go after a 30 year old defender at this stage?
If Ison is top.20, this is really a weak.draftIson potentially climing into the top 20 as well according to Twomey, so may need to bank picks/trade out of any high FA comp we get.
I definitely would not want to be gambling with our own future picks this off season, especially with an assumption that weād make finals (or even be thereabouts). Weāve been burned badly this year, canāt see it happening again anytime soon.Curnow is 29 next year and has had 3 knee surgeries this year alone. His value whilst still high, isnāt crazy atm..
I also think you maybe underrating Bailey and the influence heād have on our forward line (premiership experience)
Cripps (31) - Pick 15 and a 2nd rounder (16 pick) upgrade seems fair to me. If he wants to go home.
IMO Motlop, Acres and Chesser are all worth SFA, maybe WCE could chuck in a third rounder.
Chesser offers more of the attributes we need speed and foot skills.
Firstly I expect us to bounce next year and at least make finals, while Melbourne Iād expect to be bottom 3. So, Iād be happy to gamble with second rounders, as Iād expect a pick upgraded in 2026 in a better draft.
Lever would add (premiership experience and leadership) to our defence for the next few years allowing HOF and Dean to build/grow into their bodies.
You can insert/remove any names you like, but I wanted to focus on speed, foot skills, leadership and premiership experience.
Oscar Allen is earmarked for Brisbane.Curnow is 29 next year and has had 3 knee surgeries this year alone. His value whilst still high, isnāt crazy atm..

You are severely underrating Zac Bailey dude. Brisbane would laugh us out of the room if we offered this trade.Curnow and a F3 (roughly 43) for Bailey and a F1 (roughly 16) is really bad and leaves heaps on the table.

Like for a like..Hamstrings are made of tissue paper - think Gov has that role in our squad at the moment.
It's defiantly form related for CJ, at times he can be very very soft and miss easy tackles. His good games are very good but his bad games are very bad no in between with him.Anyone have some details on why Jiath hasn't played any games this year?
Form or injury?
GWS were loaded with talent from the never ending cycle theyāve been in of getting high picks from their academy and as a start up team.GWS cleaned out non-committed players (Taranto et al) when they changed coach, it can be a good thing if managed properly around a senior core
GWS were loaded with talent from the never ending cycle theyāve been in of getting high picks from their academy and as a start up team.
Theyāve been constantly able to let guys go and get high picks back because theyāve had such great depth.
Taranto, Williams, Shiel etc were surplus to requirements.
Cameron was the one real big loss they had and Iād argue thatās cost them a flag or two.
We are not GWS. We donāt have a bunch of other high end talents that would be hanging around if Curnow etc are gone.
