I don't think we have room for any more stars, considering how much they require in salary now. We've got Young, Brayshaw, Serong, Jackson, Bolton. Plus Darcy, Cox, Ryan in the top 100 paid players. That's about the most you can have at the highly paid end. Especially when we have a good cohort of KPF's who are valuable on the open market. And Pearce and Clark who are in the upper echelon for their positions.

Extra 400k from the Dees is enough to borrow 5 million interest only at 6%. Lets say he then holds these properties till 2034 and sells them for 8 million. CG of 3 million, 50% discount means only 1.5 million is taxed at the full marginal rate. So his effective tax rate on the extra 3.6 million he would get over the nine years from the Dees would be like 21/22% All this is without factoring capital depreciation and transaction costs, or a single other tax minimisation dodge. It's definitely worth it.

Shows why the CTG discount mostly a rort, particularly for multiple investment properties.
