Oscar gets the better start and holds the inside line through 1, giving him the wider/faster dry line through 2 and Lando slots in behind, pulling out to defend Max into turn 3. Lando is slow through 3/4/5 from being offline, but fast enough to keep Max at bat through the rest of the lap whilst Oscar pushes out to a 2-3 second gap. Max and Lando then fight for the next 15 laps until first pit whilst Oscar gradually edges further and further in front. There's a huge standing water puddle on the inside of turn 2.
Epic if Oscar could hang Lando out to dry into at the start haha

It'll stop, but yes they couldWill they cancel the F1 race if it doesn’t stop raining?
Not really up to date with modern day rules etc.
They can & do race in the rain. Ultimately it's up to the race director to decide whether or not it's safe to proceed. Will they cancel the F1 race if it doesn’t stop raining?

2 hours of race time over a 3 hour period (was 4 hours up until 2021)Once the race has officially started, there is a maximum time for it to be completed - I think it's either 3 or 4 hours. They can, however, delay the start of the race (though they can't wait until tomorrow to hold the race).
Started 17th and went bang!If you want to watch a wet F1 race that was allowed to proceed, I highly recommend watching the 2024 Brazil GP. Watch that and you'll soon see why everyone is talking about Max dominating in the rain.
Timing, it can't run late on an F1 race day
Good question. Why have those beautiful chunky wet weathers then. [emoji15][emoji846]

You'd be rightdumb question: but does F1 have a refund policy for cancelled/shortened races due to weather? I'm guessing no.
