We know the cut-off is around 16/17 games played. If he plays the rest of the year he should make it but can see him being lineball right now over guys who have played every game (even if they have had a down game or 2 - they at least have played).Hasn’t he only played 3 games?
You can poll 10 x 10 AFLCA but if you miss the other half of the season you won’t get in.
Yes but this is a rolling AA so we are judging on the first 7 gamesWe know the cut-off is around 16/17 games played. I realized after putting the squad together that I was definitely short on KPDsI'd be gobsmacked if there was only one KPD in the squad at this point. And only 8 out of 44 defenders.
The last two are literally examples of players benefitting from the other one getting attention.Ablett, Selwood and Dangerfield the 3 that come to mind for those who overcame it well.

And Ablett was just stat padding for a large chunk of his career while his team got slaughtered week in week out.
Gawn's a freak. He pips Cox as the best ruckman of the AFL era IMO.At the end of round 7 Gawn has Xerri covered.
More disposals (140-118), more hitouts, more marks (34-13), over 4 times as many contested marks (14-3), many more score involvements (54-34), and goal assists. And, as usual, Xerri has him for tackles (15-36) and clearances (38-44).
Gawn has received votes in the AFLCA award 4 times to Xerri's 3, although it is close 23-21.
I know many want old man Gawn's reign to come to an end, but you've actually got to take it off him. Xerri had a great game against Gawn but one game isn't enough.
Unfortunately for the Xerri lovers he's just not athletically equipped to do the things Gawn does. He's a bit of a lumberer.

I did a basic assessment and didn't even look at that site.Xerri had a couple of injury interupted games he's played through, he's firing back up.
And in fairness, he did take it off him.
He absolutely kicked Gawn's ass, that will count later in the year.
You are putting plenty of mayo on that post by selective stats.
You didn't mention hitouts to advantage, hitouts to adv %, goals, CP's and all the rating formats......unsurprisingly.

He sure is, though benefiting from Serong copping the bulk of the opposition attention.Rose coloured glasses and all but Andy Brayshaw is putting in a heck of a season.

Worst award to rate Daicos on…
Your coach gives him 5 votes every week! Wouldn’t surprise me if he got votes when he doesn’t play…
Can’t argue with facts!
Andrew Brayshaw is in so far. Been Freo's best player most weeks and comfortably ahead of Serong.
