I remember when he was a raw AF 20yo clunking them against us in 2019 and thinking this kid could be anything! Then the injuries started to pile up. If we were in the market for a KPF I’d say why not take a ping at the stumps when he next hits FA, but with the MMM’s, West and now Howes starting to show a bit KPF is not an area of need unless it’s a Ben King type star.

Totally agree, thought he was going to be a star a month or so into 2022 but just never got fit. Not a priority for me

Howes is a big, strong bloke with nice hands. Still a bit raw but would love to see him with a pre season under his belt. I could see him chopping out in the ruck also

Setting aside who walks I’d like us to be in the market to upgrade our KD posts.

Howey plays on, but at his age any injury at any time could spell trouble. McInnes is a complete unknown. Frampton feels system dependent despite his improvement. Dean doesn’t earn another contract for me. Smit isn’t a KPD. That’s a bit of risk to be carrying as a contender so if we could go out and get a Turner/ Edwards/ Busslinger I’d feel more comfortable (the latter of course still being speculative).

Alternatively the Blues fans Flanders suggestion sounds good to me.
