You kind of feel almost sorry for them but if true this is suicidal.

It's almost like they feel they have to give their supporters something, anything at all to feel like they won and arent monumentally shit, even overpaying for a workmanlike ruck to prove they can lure anyone at all to their Ross Lyon version of Jonestown. In truth it would just reinforce their inevitable irrelevance, while skewing the market for clubs actually run properly who now have to contend with players salary expectations set by whichever club is the least competent.

On second thoughts, **** them, useless bunch of ankles.

If I was TDK and was offered that kind of money, I'd take it in a heartbeat, unless a vaguely comparable offer came in from a decent club (unlike the Aints).
