I'm not saying whether it does or doesn't.Going back to WA does not mean Bobby’s situation would be automatically resolved.
It's devastating mate.Sorry to hear that mate, not something I’d wish upon anyone.
All I know is that we're not seeing him hanging out with criminals in nightclubs and he was fine to play at least 1 VFL game and as a sub so doesn't have a mystery illness like he who must not be named. It does very much seem like just a fitness/match fitness issue due to his mental health struggles to committ to a consistent training schedule at the moment. The biggest problem is that we don't know what actually took place with Bobby. Bobby signed a 4 year extension and 2 months later his wife and kids took off. Let just wait and see what happens

I think you should take a look at their career trajectories it’ll shock you. Lohman was a bees dick from also being a Norm Smith medalist. That's a pretty terrible example though. I wouldn't pay Lohman $800-900k plus a high first rounder whether he was training or not.
Bobby's situation is completely different to JUH. One is genuine mental health from having his kids move away to another state. The other is refusing to go to work so he can go clubbing and hang out with criminals where he clearly has no interest in his AFL career anymore. From all the signs, Bobby still wants to play and be involved but is obviously still battling some mental demons to commit to a set training schedule.
The belief with Bobby is that if he moves back to WA, his personal situation would resolve so there's no issues with turning up and performing. In that instance you'd expect full value from a WA club for the trade. If the idea is that you push him out in a trade to the Gold Coast or another Vic club, then I agree I don't see how that might resolve his personal situation in which case it's better for him to stay.

Not much you can do. It's going to be a difficult journeysorry to hear mate.
Feel for you mate. (Im in the same boat - different sickness) Wishing you and yours all the best. Not much you can do. It's going to be a difficult journey

I also don’t buy people’s beliefs on Hill’s situation improving with a move because it not only runs counter to Hill’s camps beliefs considering he doesn’t want out, but those beliefs are based on only the theory he wants to be in the same state as his kids. Have those people considered that he may very well be no chance of seeing the kids on a regular basis even if he’s in WA?
The only scenario we get a decent return on a Hill trade is if WC come hard for him and there’s literally been zero reporting on them having any interest at all.
Edit: there hasn’t been a single report on that being the reason for JUH’s absence. The only reports have been down to his mental health so I’m only going to have a discussion on what I know to be true not fan fiction from you or others (no matter how likely it is to be true).
That’s been my point the whole way through. That’s the only scenario he leaves. No one is coming for him because of what he’s going through and he doesn’t want out so it only happens if we force it.I do follow Lohman. Had him in my supercoach team last year and he was a revelation. But ultimately he's a high marking small forward similar to Elliott. And Elliott's never been valued as a high first round pick plus $800-900k player. Ultimately, every team would want an elite crumbing small that brings goals, pressure, speed and high score assists. Not every team necessarily needs a marking small in their forward line.
I agree that Hill is likely to stay and that he's actually happy at the club. My comment is that he's either going to stay or he will be traded for full value if he ultimately requests a trade to WA for family reasons *if he deems that necessary to resolve his personal situation. In no scenario has he lost trade value where he is likely to be traded for a second rounder/packet of chips because we're not going to be pushing him out.
You left out Harley ReidJust on Butters going to Geelong (allegedly) how the F*** are they prying him out and they have Worpel and Rohan Marshall coming in. Theres no way that even their creative accounts team can cook those books to make it work when they just signed Smith last season.
Finals campaign in 2025 is my hope. Not every year where your in top 4 at end of home and away. Need him nowFamily resolution and a fit and happy Bobby in a Pies jumper in 2026 is my hope
Butters doesn’t get to Geelong this year because they don’t have the trade collateral. Port won’t trade him this year unless it’s a fair tote offer because they’ll back themselves in to re-sign him and if that fails they know the FA compensation will be greater than anything Geelong can offer at the trade table.Just on Butters going to Geelong (allegedly) how the F*** are they prying him out and they have Worpel and Rohan Marshall coming in. I hope Bobby travels with the team as a support mechanism for himself and for the team / club as a whole.Finals campaign in 2025 is my hope. Not every year where your in top 4 at end of home and away. Need him now
Can’t wait for Bloos exit meetings. I want Curnow to walk out but that means they get a Gulden type in return FFS.
I wonder what they'll pay for him?. It's going to be pricey either wayI don't think Gulden is leaving Sydney. He's an academy kid.
It will be draft picks.
only to bring our age profile downAt 29 do we consider Finlayson?
If he can’t get himself to training, he needs to be away from the club. Just a distraction otherwise.I hope Bobby travels with the team as a support mechanism for himself and for the team / club as a whole.

On field he is. Dean is less likely to brawl with his teammatesHe was very keen to come to us.
Chose Melbourne because they could get the deal done and we couldn’t.
He’s an improvement of Charlie Dean.
