Only agree with the side step.
Finn is great in tight with great hands. Sully is not a better tackler compared to Finn who has a bigger body.
Sully isn’t as proficient on both sides as Finn.
And being 4 years younger Finn has more upside.
With the same extended AFL time as Sully got this year I think Finn would prove himself.

F*ck me.

When you die on a hill you absolutely die the arseh*le out of it.

I have him as depth at this stage. I'm not saying he won't be any good but it's like anything else, you'd like to see a lot more before considering him a lock for next year
This was my point exactly before the forum police came at me. ;)

Agree. Jamie running around for another team would be terrible. I think you should send in some money to the club with a picture of your dog and your BF username.
I give the club plenty of my money & I will send in a pic of my beautiful Elliott & username.

Anything to help.

Midweek tackle saying Elliot to GC is getting stronger by the day. Very strong links

Hope not

Surely some of the freed up Treloar money and money that was earmarked for Silvagni could go to Jamie?

The other thing would be the zac butters situation. Hawthorn going after merret could potentially be 1 less team competing for his services (assuming essendon grants merret his wish).

I’m sure Macrae was as well jmac. I’d love him to become a player, as it stands his skills seem a long way off. He’s got a season to prove me wrong.

McCarthy is basically the same height but moves like a midfielder. He is one I’m excited about
He's still only 17 until next month.

No issues pursuing Buller or Caminiti. Both young and can fill holes for us because I’m presuming given our age profile we’ll be running it back with this list next season.

2026 seems to be the year when we’ll pursue big names.

Watching Gettable, and Cal said we have had a look at Caminiti
And Riley says Young is someone we would look at too, neither seemed too in depth or we have zeroed in on one particular one.
The former is contracted and they dont think they'll let him go.

Sounds like more Opinion then real proper Knowledge

Buller is going to go from a nobody to Wayne Carey now we are interested
Just watched some of his highlights on the AFL app. TD’s longer video is far better.
Good on the lead, thumping kick and can Ruck.
If he’s cheap he’s worth it.

The only reason we are looking at Sullivan more favorably, is that to his great credit, he’s stepped up at AFL level.I’m simply saying given the same extended exposure Finn will be more impressive.

If HDM had Macrae’s 2 sided skills, and great hands in tight I’d agree.
I’m very much focused on skills - if a kid has skills then I’m fine to give them time.
Fin played 9 games last year.

Remember Elliott’s chase down tackle goal v St Kilda? He caught Caminiti because he had no 20 metre sideways option on. You literally only want him taking that zero pressure sideways kick. St Kilda are beefing up their defence to move on from him and Howard.
But you have to remember who have st kilda been able to develop? In our system, he may come on leaps and bounds. Worth the punt i reckon

Not seen more then few Highlights of him so can't really speak

Worse case Scenario be Good Depth and at 199cm could also play a Cox like Role as 2nd Ruck/Forward
