You’d think if we add him and Checkers leaves we have Buller as the 2nd ruck and McStay goes back to a pure forward role.

Gives us some flexibility with West and Membrey in the mix as well.

Good nickname. Works well at address him. Works very well for abuse when required.

Not so sure, Cox knows McStay will likely get first dibs for round 1 next year and he’d have to consider if he wants to go through another season playing half or more of VFL and getting sledged by random hacks on the weekly. His parents are in town for the prelim, maybe it’s last dance for him.

The wildcard is what they do with ruck rules and I’m hoping we’re seeking to clarify that as I haven’t seen it clearly outlined anywhere. Going into next season with Cameron, Steene and Buller (assume he’s not the jumping ruck type) is a risk in that regard.

Played Ruck in the SANFL U-18 but I doubt at 194cm he play ruck at Senior Level

Yeah, if his tank builds to the point that it ought to I think Membrey will become depth (bloody handy depth, but nonetheless).
