There was a member from the Carlton board claiming Jordy would retire at the end of this year. There's no proof, but some have decided to give the claim substance because that poster has been right about 'things' in the past. Aka it's horse shit.

When I asked for record of those 'things' of course no one actually responded. Just BigFooty morons

That C4 Carlton supporter said Jordy was in talks with the club about retiring.

Would be truly bizarre with 2 years to run on his contract, working so hard to get his body right, playing his best game of the year against Crows and about to start a family.

I asked a close friend of Jordy's and he laughed and said 'no chance'.

I think that the bold are most likely as well on the basis of my understanding of his posting history. He’s been getting mail for years on all sorts of things. I find the media a little less likely because if a journo had the story I don’t think they’d sit for 24 hrs.

I hope we don’t lose JDG, but if he has 2 medallions in his pocket and leaves money on the table I certainly won’t begrudge him now that he’s starting a family in a regional location.

In terms of reporting, Caro is many leagues above the new clickbait crew that have come through recently.

I would agree with that - as much as I dislike some of her witch hunts, the bar has been dropping wirh each passing year.

These people are also symptomatic of a broken industry that dialed up the ragebait and gossip in the face of disappearing revenue. A pissed off supporter clicking in anger is still a click.
