I could honestly see this being a quiet trade period for us. I can see Windhager re-signing, Starcevich either re-signing or going to West Coast. I would like to think that our days of overpaying rejects from other clubs are over. Doesn't leave a whole lot.

I'm fine with that if we can't get anyone. Just go to the draft and take four young role players in areas of need.

Assuming Windy stays, is there anything else likely to happen? Surely we can't go into next season just adding a couple of second rounders.

I'd rather that than have more mercenaries clogging up our list

Would be even better if we somehow found a way to get rid of a few contracted players like Fisher, Scott, and Corr (even Logue, but we can only dream). I don't know how we can do it, but if we pay part of their salary, maybe at least one or two of them can be moved on.
