We have been doing well to close down Toohey's space so he can't give them the drive from behind he normally does.

Agreed - I’m a big fan. Ceiling is higher than most think.

Hynes playing very well but he’s about the last type of player the senior side needs unfortunately. Maybe if we drop Sanders we could fit him in.

Jaques would have to be pretty close to getting in over Cleary or Bramble.

Hynes, Gallagher one two punch in the middle doing very good, Jaques looking good on a wing, Kennedy stemming the influence of Toohey not sure if that is a hard tag but he is paying him pretty close attention, defense is holding up well and the VFL players are all contributing well, Lewis having a good game.

Disappointed that Sellwood didn’t play. We’re desperate for competent defenders right now and he’s going to need to play at least a couple at this level.

Don’t understand the spin rule.

A player could have no prior but just because the tackler spins them it’s HTB. How does a spin constitute prior?

I’d leave Hynes in the VFL for the rest of the year to build confidence, let him spend the whole off season in the gym and bring him in R1
