I just hate blatant cheating and find it hilarious that it fails so miserably… and they keep doing it.

We’ll have to run a book on what round they start blaming injuries for being shit in 2026.

Take everything you hear about Doncaster splashing money with a grain of salt. I said this on another post, their coaches Jake and Decca are 2 very popular people off the field and would have some great relationships with alot of players, Jake has recruited a couple of cousins, their mates etc. Decca has dragged a few across from the SFNL and the others are former Donny players or mates.
Honestly not the best strategy, but from what I've heard they are trying to establish their juniors again and they are gaining alot of off-field momentum to get the club back up and running

Will some of these clubs ever learn. I wish bad luck to them and if they are sprung for being over the salary cap, I hope they throw the book at them.

They are up to their necks in it. Offering big coin to some average players and signing much better ones daily. There is no way they are playing within the cap. Its disgraceful.

Let's hope they get nabbed if they are found to be over the salary cap.

In fairness i don't think anyone ever said they had no money? Not that i remember anyway. Wasn't it suggested they were always financially sound? Just had no players?

Wouldn’t touch him Bunk Moreland. Lots of issues with him and from experience will find a way to move on mid season. If you are looking to improve your environment and team culture, Mitch isn’t one I would recommend.

Hopefully I will be proven otherwise but I don’t have a high opinion of him.

I was surprised an excellent club like Mitcham would take him on. I hope they have done their due diligence.

Doncaster player signings are very clever at the moment, “out of oakleigh chargers program” and leaving out the 10 years of premier seniors at Blackburn and Doncaster to not raise suspicions that they are well above division 4 standards! Montrose meet with some of the recruits they have posted and they obviously missed out

No, I mean Donny East/Beverley Hills. They don't get that many players coming through from BH these days and BH are not the junior powerhouse club they used to be. Also, not a strong relationship between the two clubs which wouldnt help.

Looks like this year Beverley Hills had U18s (standalone junior leagues won't align their age groups), U15s - but looks like they may have folded during the year - and then U12s and down. Certainly not looking that healthy.

I saw him play two finals at EB. He spent a lot of time informing the umpires about how he was being unfairly treated by them and that he expected much better treatment. The outcome was that he didn't get much of a positive return on his umpiring critique.

Damien Johnston from Beaconsfield has also signed at upper gully. Huge get he’s a gun footballer and will dominate division 3.
