Transfer fees (ie one club paying another to clear a contracted player) have been explicitly banned for decades. They were very firm on it as it’ll send clubs broke.

I’m sure it happens but is a big no no.

Balwyn's pockets are bottomless

Really not sure what you are getting upset about here?

Kids having been getting poached across in the transition to senior clubs for years. The only change in more recent times is that the under 19's recruitments are posted on socials by more clubs.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs around the lower divisions. The higher you go, it’s going to be harder to perform in the condition he’s in.

Still, a big blow for Scoresby to lose both their key forwards (Storr and Amin) after being promoted.

Malone from Blackburn will be a good addition, but can’t imagine he’ll be around for long - Scoresby is already his 4th club in five years, clearly just chases cash.

Potentially but Ive heard Scoresby also decided he wouldn't be the right fit for Div 2 and were happy for him to go. He was linked to Fairpark 3 or 4 weeks ago but that died down and i didn't hear anything more until the weekend.

I think Scoresby have made an error, he kicked 89 goals this year. Even if that dropped to 50 next year in Div 2 he would still be an elite forward. Only 1 player kicked more than 50 this season in Div 2 and only 3 players kicked more than 40.

But it absolutely changes Oakleighs outlook, they should play finals with him.
