No. He has everything else going for him, but being a lockdown defender isn’t one of them. Seriously if he could just take some angry pills before each game and bring the agro I agree he would have it all. Don’t dislike the guy, just want him to get some mongrel.

Are you blind. He has done some very good lockdown roles on some very good small forwards. This is nothing to do with aggro.

The thing with Walker is the player he plays on gets so much attention from the team it’s other peoples players that get off the chain.
Most games I watch you watch him run off his player and someone from behind will take that player eg. Ryan/chappy goes to Cameron leaving their man free walker turns the ball over horrendously and then they transition the ball and Ryan/chappys man kicks the goal. Stats say Cameron had no influence on the game but if you watch Walker he’s at fault for 4/5 goals a game from horrendous turnovers. That’s why no one trusts him or wants him best 22

I’m more concerned if he leaves his man out the back and then tries to impact on a FF pack contest.

Re the Walker tackle on Jackson, was he on the wing,, was a cracker.
As to the shot at him for leaving his man, didn't he win the tackle, didn't he win the ball with a free!!Surely a win win situation.
Or could we delay our praise of Reid for setting Jacko with a suicide hand ball!!

Yes. Just as Fyfe bows out we have another genuine star rising. Completely different player but with his football IQ, vision and skills perhaps at or at least close to as influential in getting things going our way.
With Serong, Brayshaw & Young that is entering elite for 4 mids without even mentioning the Unicorn Ras and Jonno.
Good times.

I think we realistically just need Ras to continue his trajectory and we should be looking at a genuine contender midfield unit.
