Yes. Just as Fyfe bows out we have another genuine star rising. Completely different player but with his football IQ, vision and skills perhaps at or at least close to as influential in getting things going our way.
With Serong, Brayshaw & Young that is entering elite for 4 mids without even mentioning the Unicorn Ras and Jonno.
Good times.

Ras can just go Dunkley mode. Same height. Ras has the quiet confidence to get things done too.

I felt straight after we got Amiss, Ras, and Johnson that that was the draft that finished the rebuild and once they were mature we would be having our tilt. It hasn't been linear progression, but gee I hope all three have a big year and that feeling rings true.

May we now have the depth and power to match Brisbane etc?

I never bother to try to select the best 22(23), because there is always at least one you miss.
But, if I were to attempt it, on either HFF, first name logged, now, is Reid.

Got smashed in a contest with big Cox in the third quarter, came off, but came back on again. Seemed ok, but want involved in much play. He missed a set shot from 50m directly in front against the wind after intercepting a High Davies brain fart.

yep. best lockdown with fastest closing speed we have. Great against all of those talented smalls kicking a fair chunk of the goals in the competition inc Charlie, Kosi, Rankine, Jones, Higgins, Elliott etc.
