At this point in time he isn't an upgrade on any of Hampson, Maric or Vickery. He hasn't proven anything and for the most part has come up relief ruckman in the form of Josh Bruce, Jackson Trengove, Josh Jenkins and Chris Dawes/Jack Watts. He isn't a very good mark, doesn't kick goals and is undersized in the ruck. In saying all that he does show promise and hopefully he can develop in a genuine number 1 ruckman who limits his opponent in the hit out and beats him on the ground, helping our mids get space in stoppages. Whilst when resting up forward hopefully he can learn to position himself so that he can take more marks and bring the ball to the ground more often.
He is a good pick up and represents good value at pick 46 but any talk of him being number 1 based on what he has shown to date is ridiculous and he will need to work for it.

Great pickup, but a fair few in here are overrating him a bit.
Young with a lot of promise but I'd be very surprised if he started ahead of Hampson.

Great pickup! Isn't the most athletic but from what I've seen he has Maric-esque presence around the stoppages, great tackler and good skills.
Tigers fans you've got a very robust player. He's quite slow but his skills are outstanding for a big man and he is a tackling machine. All the best with him.
