It's more the constant complaining about everything, even the trivial stuff, that gets very tiring. I've never seen a real need to make a big deal about the state bias stuff.

I like Pattinson because he's awesome and competitive and dislike Johnson because he seems to think he's better than he is. Where they're from and what the commentators think doesn't enter the equation that often. The rules are quite strict on discussing this stuff now so I won't elaborate more than that, but I just don't get the hyperbole to be honest.

I was wrapped up in bed sick all week so saw most of it and my god, I wanted to jump in the TV and smash Michael Slater and Mark Taylors face in because of their bias... on the 2nd day!!

They are bias alright, didnt manage to see the Vodaphone Cricket Tracker question? What city is the best in Australia? A) Melbourne B) Sydney C) Brisbane (most likely in reference to Greigy from Melbourne, Heals from Queensland and everyone else from NSW). Every chance they had to get a dig in at Melbourne they did, even when there was a resounding 48% - 33% they still chose to bag out Melbourne saying "all the Sydneysiders must be at the SCG"..

FFS, I actually think I would prefer to watch Rob Walls comentate a Carlton/Essendon game than these clowns..

You're taking a Vodafone poll to heart a little much don't you think? That sort of banter has been going on with the commentators for years. Healy and Slater used to always brag about which state had the better beaches etc.

Honestly though, who really cares what Slater/Taylor etc say? If you take all the trash they spew seriously then the cricket becomes a much less enjoyable experience.

People from both sides of the whole NSW/VIC debate pore over every little thing that is said and written and then cry foul when they think their side has been wronged. It's ridiculous.
