This guy has gone from he should be delisted, to easily my favourite player at North. All within 16 games.

Going by his statistical output, he already has transitioned into a quality midfielder.

IMO - I'm pretty sure that we have to cover HIS output when he is off - he has a very interesting blend of outside run and linkup with a cunners 'like' level of extracting the hard ball get (I say 'like', because they do it very differently - cunners has more time because he is so strong and able to fend off the tackle, jed is just quicker with his body and hands when tackled).

So Ben is a Jedi Knight and Jed is a medieval Berserker

The only negative aspect of his play this season, is he should sometimes go for the wrap up tackle instead of hip and shouldering, but admittedly it's being fairly picky lol

He should but on the flip side you could argue that him consistently bumping opens up opportunities that we wouldn't otherwise get (players know he'll hit them hard), gotta take the wins with the losses sometimes. His consistency is great though, makes such a difference having an extra player with some leg speed that gets it 20+ week in week out. Changes the whole structure in the middle with him and Jacobs rolling around.
