Let's just use this season for Comben to settle in, then next season for Sellers, then we can start integrating Will Dawson in in 2026 when he's hopefully ready. Should be ready to win 6-8 games by 2027 :)
Comben should be playing the whole season now and Sellers need to play this year now that CHF has been made vacant by CCJs injury to settle down the spine for when Logue returns..

I think that's being a little simplistic. Most of us who want to see Sellers in the team is for structural reasons as our current forward line isn't working.

Our fwd line isn't working because our midfield isn't working or even on par against the top 8 teams. Rather than chopping and changing the fwd we need to find an effective mix in the middle first, even if that takes the whole year.

Having said that, seller coming in shouldn't be a IF but WHEN. I think it's when comben having around 10 games or by midseason so he is settled with match fitness and experience.

Ok first step in our plan is not to let you post in here.
Second step not needed as your drivel would have ceased.

And *en get sellers in the team.

I don't think anyone here disagrees about seller it's just that he is not ready yet in terms of fitness and conditioning.

It seems that you might be the one who is in need of ceasing as you clearly don't understand how organisational management works.

Says who?

I get it with Maley or any of our teen draftees.

Tyler played the entire year in the VFL last year.

Him not being ready for the reasons you’ve said is accurate only inside your head.

He’s gonna be in sooner rather than later.

Not sure what Comben has to do with playing Sellers...

He's the leading goal kicker in the best level below the AFL for the last 14 weeks of games, playing against AFL listed defenders.

Last game against the blues he was up against afl quality defenders in kemp/young and had 6-7 shots at goal.
He’s ready enough when you add the gaping hole in our forward line.

Everytime you introduce a new player to the team, it has an effect on that part of the ground. For instance, putting tony lockett into a team might sound like a good thing but it may also screws up the entire fwd line setup.

We just put in comben to the backline, let him settle in first. Then add another and another and so on. That's why you rarely see any team doing more than 1 or 2 changes per week.

Our team does not need a huge list change, it just need some player positional movement.

Do you realise that these things aren't mutually exclusive? Comben can settle in down back and Sellers can debut up forward.

So you think that we have a functioning forward line set up! it is so disfunctional that putting Sellers in might just make things work better.

It’s ok to add something, or anything to fill the space of nothing.

We have no HF structure. None. We have been playing with little to no HF structure for the better part of 3 years.

It’s one of the main reasons why we have so few inside 50s and marks inside 50, and why the opposition seem to have record numbers of both rebound 50s and intercept marks.

More than any one problem we have, our inability to have any half-forward control contributes to our poor play and losses.

And you have a better plan? Do englighten
Yes play them all as soon as possible not in 2030 😂😂

Wow you’re digging that hole deeper with every ridiculous post . Sellers has to come in this week Maybe Mayley as well . I’m my 50+ year’s supporting North this is by far the most uncompetitive bunch I’ve seen.

Reckon he will be close. Was doing 1v2 high kicks against X and Goad at the end of training today. The drill was supervised by Clarko who seemed to be providing plenty of encouragement. Held his own in stopping those two from marking despite the height and number differences - bringing the ball to ground or marking out the back. Mind you, Greenwood doing the same at the other end so 🤷‍♂️

Would Tony Lockett even get a game with us? Who would he replace?
