his action is excellent (looks exactly like his dad's, you can see who taught him to kick) so it won't be a difficult fix for him, just decision making which comes with time and experience.

From personal experience, if I miss a game or training, it’s my skills and decision making that often lack when I return. But I’m also not AFL-standard so this point is probably mute.

Do any cooper watchers have thoughts on if he could cut is as a small pressure goal kicking forward? from that vid he looks like an inside mid with a great handball but not so good kick. It’s probably not what we really need.

Last time we saw him he 'sort of' looked like Boomer. Now he looks like him. waddles like him and moves like him.

Yeah I think he will thrive as a small high half forward
Dangerous around goal and can accumulate

If he can win the ball and find the space to hit them consistently that attribute alone will see him play a lot of games.

Haha, in the member survey this year there was a question about "match day experience" and I wrote that mine would be significantly enhanced by players that could hit a target from 20-30m range.

Jesus. it's a bit spooky the way he does everything just like his dad except 15-20cm taller. The way he runs, kicks, bounces, the faces he makes, even his goal celebration was very boomer-esque

considering it's a volunteer position (i think? could be wrong) i don't see how there could be a conflict of interest, very different to the situations with McDonald or Archer. He's not in a position to give his son favourable treatment because he's the runner. You could argue that just being Brent Harvey, games record holder and hall of famer gives him that power but then you'd have to abolish the father-son rule altogether.

He’s one of the coaches and I very much doubt Clarko would want to cut him loose. He’s a great conduit between the players and coaches

This!! He was super clean with his hands. As Soup says his kicking is usually very good, not overly penetrative but can hit targets well.
