The 2015 draftee broke through for his AFL debut in Round 17, 2018 and featured in 12 senior games in 2019. O’Riordan can shut down tall and small forwards and loves to run and carry.

Freakin awesome. Young player of the year in the GAA for 2014. Says a lot about how good he can be ... And to already have the kicking down (the thing just about all Irish lads have an issue with upon conversion) is simply a fantadtic start for him. I'm really lookin fwd to seein him, even if he is a kilkenny product...

how many internation rookies can one club sign? i posted erlier that id like to see us pick up Joyce aswell. 193cm KPD. but im not sure if youy can have more than 1 international rookie. would probably be good for both of them to be living/training together in a foreign country

Two Category B rookies I think. Category B includes overseas players and players from other sports. Hawthorn has a couple of NZ rookies.

Glad to see us trying an Irish lad again, they are a free hit recruiting wise.
 
If he can already kick a sherrin, that's a massive headstart on a lot of young irish rookies. I wonder how long it will take him to get a run?
