Don't really need that with Hooker, Hurley, Hibberd etc.

Could see him being a Bob Murphy type, but he would be much more effective forward of center.

I agree you with that we have enough decent players in defence, just saying that Langford has the potential to become a very good defender if he were to be played there.

Haven't quite got a grasp on Laverde yet (other than the fact I like him) but Langford looks a pure forward.

Presents at the ball carrier, has instinctive forward craft, moves in and out of on-coming traffic, sticky hands and kicks goals with a simple and efficient style. Will be a perfect foil to JD in time.

seriously think that we'll look back to the 2014 draft with very fond memories. Given that and the acquisition of Zach Merrett in 2013 and it's hard to believe how well we handled those draft sanctions.

Laverde should ideally become a permanent mid, would like to see Langas around the half forward line mostly though.

Just finished watching the VFL replay. This kid is silk and considering his late birthday I wouldn't be surprised to see him come on in a big way over the pre-season
