The worst that will happen is we get fined. I think if the player gets injured in the warm-up, which is what happened with Nathan, then they can be replaced at the last minute.

ABC said there would be an investigation, so there is a small risk. More likely if were found to be in the wrong, it would be a $10,000 fine or therabouts, which seems to be the penalty if you bring in a player who was listed as an emergency.

As long as they made the change before the third siren, and made melboune aware of the change its fine. Thats what they said on tripleM, and they did cover those areas.

I noticed Nathan talking to Ken Hinkley and Hinkley looking at his watch. Pretty sure they were checking it was ok. I don't think they would have done it if it wasn't ok.

If a player is injured in the pre-game warmup he can be taken out. There is a time limit, but I think they replaced him straight away as he wasn't going to go.

At worst, it will be a fine, but usually it is ok if the player has hurt himself in the warmup.
