Martin Pike. A guy that was never a high profile player and was given a jail sentence in the late 90's has his name mentioned along side some greats.
Anybody else that I have missed?

There's a stack of em.

Norm Smith, John Platten, Gary Buckenara, Dick Clay, Bruce Doull, Royce Hart, Rocket Eade and Dick Reynolds among them.

There were quite a few blokes from the hawks 80 and early 90's side that have won 4 and more.

Also, how about the pies side that won 4 on the trot?

Melbourne won 6 in 10 years 54-64. I believe Barassi played in most of them.

Harry Chesswas
Bill Libbis
Bob Makeham
Frank Murphy
George Clayden
Jack Beveridge
Charlie Dibbs (5)
Harold Rumney (5)

None are high profile players, all have their names mentioned alongside some greats (Gordon Coventry, Syd Coventry, Leeter Collier, Harry Collier).

Unfortunately, none of them had a criminal conviction recorded against his name, so Martin Pike wins.

ummmmm try the whole collingwood team nearly in the 1920's when they wone 4 grand finals in a row. that team was the greatest ever team no questions along with the best coach

Footscray won in 64.

Six flags for Barass 1955-1964, plus a seventh in 1968.

But still no criminal conviction. Dammit! Pike wins again!!

I'm sure you mean '54 for the Doggies, beating Melbourne.

Then Melbourne won in '55, '56, '57, '59 and '64. There might be another one there somewhere. Maybe in '60.

^ Not the whole Collingwood team. Just over half.

Edit: with just 18 players in a team, 12 played together in flags 1927-30. Good effort to keep two-thirds on the park for four flags in a row
