If you could add any 5 players to our side who do not play for Geelong or St Kilda. Who would you select to help our side become unquestionably the strongest side in the competition?

My selections would be:
Aaron Sandilands - By no means giving Darren Jolly the bump after his 4 goal effort against the leagues best ruck division but why would you not want to insert this monster into your side?
Brian Lake - Would be a rock solid addition to compliment Presti down back and really solidify our defence wonderfully. Best defender in the league by a mile.
Lance Franklin - While this would mean giving the in form Dawes the bump it would clearly give the forwardline the focal point to allow Cloke the secondary KPF role which clearly he is most suited to and make our forwardline the most dangerous in the league with a combination of smalls and talls who can hit the score board.
Luke Hodge - Inspirational leader who will always put his body on the line and his versatility would add allot. Having a great season would fit into any side no question.
Chris Judd - Excellent onfield leader and while I could now name 6-7 players I would take ahead of him he is still no doubt one of the leagues elite midfielders who every team would love to have in their 22.

My 5;

Jack Riewoldt; Arguably the best contested mark in the league at the moment, and just takes control of games. Leading the Coleman, even though he is playing for one of the worst teams in it. Would kick 100 in a season for the pies within 2 years.

Buddy Franklin; Because he's Buddy.

Brian Lake; Best attacking defender in the comp, and also very reliable one on one. Has the added bonus of being able to go forward.

Aaron Davey; For mine the best deliverer of the ball inside 50 in the competition, and would just "burn" in the current Collingwood side.

Luke Hodge; Imagine having Hodge and Davey as the 2 main players kicking the ball inside 50. Hodge is almost the perfect player, skillful, tough, born leader, and just loves the big games.

There's a heap of others I'd "love", but those 5 would "fill our holes" IMO.

for non-cat's/saints players, there's a heap that would be fantastic use, but mine are:

1. Lance Franklin, fwd line superstar would run riot with the volume of inside 50's we get
2. Cyril Rioli, the fwd line nightmare would continue working with our slippery brigade of small forwards
3. Luke Hodge, extra grunt in the midfield to assist Bally, means the opposition would rarely get a clearance and/or hardball get
4. Marc Murphy, brilliant at running out of stoppages, better disposal by foot than Judd (my opinion )
5. Brian Lake, hard to argue against as a versatile and solid backman who has great presence and skill

Think what a lightning quick outside mid with fantastic skills would do for us
ii) Rioli
At the moment it seems like we need another finisher up forward
iii) Sandilands
Jolly / Sandilands - awesome
iv) Franklin
Another big finisher with height and speed
v) Lake / Hodge
Just great players
