Strikes me as unusual that Daniher ranks so highly in metres gained given he averages only 12.8 disposals a game. Probably says a bit about our lack of midfield depth.

Is it really surprising though? They're surrounded by young kids and old top ups? Beating those players should be a minimum requirement.

At least Langford has played 15 games. Worse still is Laverde getting to 5th spot after only playing 5 games.

I really only have one knock on last years draft and it wasn't going Balic over Morgan.
Ill stand corrected if it pans out, but Balic is a super talent and i'd argue we'd be set if we added brodie this year.

We can then focus on our FF needs and the middle and backline would hold us in decent stead whilst we find and develop one.

I was impressed with our drafting, however I still would have preffered matthieson with one of our seconds. Shows how off my rankings were though i spose! I see a inside mid as a pressing need, thought getting parish and matthieson would be a good haul for mids. Seemingly brodie would also help with that need if we did choose to draft him

Getting hartley was a masterstroke. So happy we did, even without suspensions he is a great assett.
