Probably inconsistent.
Amen. 9 degrees is probably above average tbh. GG Tasmania.9 degrees? By golly, I'll have to go have a dip in the Cataract Gorge. We've got a scorcher!
Training in Utah could be a massive help this week.
I've never seen it snow in Tassie, aside from being on Cradle Mountain or Ben Lomond.
I have a couple of times when I was living further south in Nubeena. Most of the mountains down in Hobart get more than a liberal sprinkle in winter though. God this state needs to get it's shit together. Mt Wellington is great resource for us to have in winter, but it's such a bitch to get to. Really need to get a quality cable car going up there and a nice cafe/restaurant on the top.

I'm heading up there for the big game with 7 of my mates. I'm packing the thermals, that's a monty. And will hit the solarium after the game to rediscover my mojo, before hitting the casino if anyones interested?
It's possible Arthur might be extracting it a bit there D.Casino could be good, just a pain that it'd be a good 20+ minute drive from the oval after the game. Although..... one of the ferry's from Bellerive may be going direct to Wrest Point, which could be an adventure in and of itself.

Agreed, although I rarely make it down to the south. In saying that, Hobart (as a city) kicks shit through Launnie.![]()

Despite common belief it rarely snows at sea level in Hobart, problem with being a coastal city.
Still cold though, will be wearing a beanie myself!
