Abortion

Agreed (for once) :thumbsu:

If men don't like the idea that, if their sexual partner falls pregnant, she gets to decide whether or not the baby is born and, if she goes through with it, he pays child support (regardless of whether he wants the child or not), then men do not have to have sex with women. Very simple.

Yep.

Mind you, any man who doesn't support his kids isn't really a man in the first place.

Some anti-abortionists seem to point to scientific facts that fetuses are alive, yet other scientifically backed arguments they will dismiss easily. If you care about the life of a cell, why aren't they vegans? That chicken you ate didn't have a choice ever. (No I'm not veg).

Indeed. I made an argument along these lines at the beginning of the thread, but nobody was interested in confronting it. :thumbsd:

If a women consents to me putting a puppy up her ass, since it's in her body does she get to say whether it lives or dies?

I might be wrong but for all countries except the US currency is indexed against gold. So printing more money doesn't mean we have more gold, it just means we have more notes, spread out across the same value of gold.

Money isn't something in and of itself, its representative of a certain value. So printing more money diminishes the value of the existing money.

There you go.

The core issue for pro-abortionists is access to consequence free sex. No one here disputes that, so the sooner we get that messge out to the community the better.

Consequence? You make it sound like sex is something bad?

Must be doing it wrong...

Pro-abortionists seem to think unborns are bad, Nick. So the easy path is chosen.

The angry left would do away with disabled people in wheel chairs if they could, and people with other illnesses.

Oh, wait, they already do!

You have some real issues Kev. I don't think I've seen a post from you that wasn't blaming 'the left' for something or other.

And if you think that abortion is ever an easy choice then you are completely out of touch.

It must be an easier choice then to take responsibility for unprotected sex:rolleyes:

I might be wrong but 'comprehenddd' has three d's at the end, not two.

Actually it just has one. That's ok though, because you prefaced that statement with an explanation that you weren't sure. Quite clearly you were just after clarification, and I would be a complete arseh*le to pretend you were 100% backing that claim.

Now you're in the realm of pure fantasy.

So what!? I said that 'I think', it doesn't mean I actually believe it, you know.

That's fair enough imo. you prefaced it saying you might be wrong, so clearly you were hypothesising, which takes a lot of balls.

If everyone stood around waiting to know they were right, before they said anything, we'd still be living in caves.

Yes indeed. When somebody prefaces a statement with 'I might be wrong', they rescind all ownership of the following statement and it is no longer theirs. If somebody had have said 'I might be wrong, but I think Hawthorn will win by a fair margin after Geelong kicks themselves out of the game', then he would have no right to take credit for being right once the game was finished, since he had begun his sentence with 'I might be wrong'.

Your example is ludicrous and deals with a prediction as opposed to existing circumstances. Please try again.
