The 2024 versions look way better to me. No weird angles.Technically our gather round and clash guernseys last year weren't our logo anyway so if we wanted to keep using them we probably could. Seems obvious that we'll pivot to the new logo though.

NahI can see our Gather round guernsey becoming our home guernsey one day
Can you ever see us changing our home guernsey? to something more subtle?

Only maybe a tweak to larger hoops, blue collar and V neck similar to what's been posted on hereCan you ever see us changing our home guernsey? to something more subtle?
I reckon people are overstating the 'map of SA' talk. It's obviously something the've worked into it, but I don't think it's meant to be a major feature of the logo. Some people are making out that it's supposed to be the defining element, which I don't think was ever the intent - more of just subtle nod to the state (which, honestly, is not that hard to make out).I don’t mind the new logo and agree with most it’s a vast improvement.
There is one thing I really can’t stand and that’s the stupid and extremely tenuous supposed link to our coast line . It’s just not even close. If that was really something that they wanted then would have been better having the crow flying upwards rather than down. Without the embarrassing mansplaining on release I doubt anyone would have naturally seen anything resembling a map of SA
It's OK. The eye looks bad though.
Same. Last years gather round guernsey is the best one we have. So of course we will stuff it up.I'm sorry but the head is the worst part of the new design and making it huge exacerbates the problem. I hope we stick to last year's design

What WILL be interesting is whether the Tassie Devils incorporate a 'map of Tasmania' into their logo...
A top notch coach? If that's the Gold Coast logo, they will never win a flag. Ever.
Good clubs don't approve horrendous eye scorching bag of shit logos like that. It's so bad it throws the decision making of the entire club into question. If they can't get a logo right and choose utter trash like that, what can they decide?
Pre or post deforestation...What WILL be interesting is whether the Tassie Devils incorporate a 'map of Tasmania' into their logo...
Brazilian Devils?Pre or post deforestation...
Yeah, I'm not sure what they were thinking with the eye.... Maybe it isn't meant to be an eye, maybe it is the blood of our enemies.....It's OK. The eye looks bad though.
Thanks! You just inadvertently sent me down a rabbit warren on the net. I Googled "snake head crow". It is only fair that you now do the same.I'm sorry but the head is the worst part of the new design and making it huge exacerbates the problem. I hope we stick to last year's design
Dah, the eye is Kangaroo IslandYeah, I'm not sure what they were thinking with the eye.... Maybe it isn't meant to be an eye, maybe it is the blood of our enemies.....
What does the S stand for?I saw a polo in the wild today - the embroidered logo looks fine, but the weird shape of the colours at the base of the wing still really throw off the whole thing, particularly given that the design is meant to be slick and angular...
Upon deep reflection, I have made the following assessment:

Of course! I can't believe I didn't notice that.Dah, the eye is Kangaroo Island
Bloody hope not. Changing your core identity on a whim is for the franchise from Alberton. Can you ever see us changing our home guernsey? to something more subtle?

When (if) we ever win another flag, it should be in the same guernsey that McLeod and Jarman wore (clash permitting).
It looks hilariously pathetic when all of Port's premiership stuff looks like a different team thanks to their guernsey overhaul.
