Can someone explain the difference between the Young rushed behind free and De Koning (?) walking the ball over the line off the Curtis snap?
You need to ask? Umps want their car keys back

I hate those jumpers North are wearing today. Look like training jumpers.
They looked a hell of a lot more professional than they did in the corresponding fixture last year, both in what they wore (an actual clash jumper) and in their performance.

From a Geelong side, it would have been really nice to go on with it and put the foot down after half time, but assuming there's no more draws this season, our current percentage probably keeps us ahead of Richmond and Carlton, even if they peg a win back from us.

On the one hand, we did take the foot off the gas, but it's good to see blokes like Bowes and Bruhn among our best, along with Miers again just being everywhere and getting in everything.

Was also positive to see Stengle gain some confidence after having a bit of a hot-and-cold year, and O Henry to get reward on the goal sheet for his work.

What the * were carlton thinking ?
One of the most bizarre moves. A guy with 120 games for you in 6 seasons shows you rate him as best 22 but lowball him a below AFL average offer... Only to then years later spend squillions in draft and salary cap on half backs. And he gets a flag before you play a final.
