More hawks fans complaining even though you clearly got carried by Stevic.
Crows got kissed on the **** tonight. hawks couldnt buy a kick in q1 and the crows got every little touch. The mark to dear not getting paid but the one to rankine +50 give me a break. Crows were allowed to tackle around the ankles as well without repercussion.

And how many did they gift the crows? i lost count.

Crows played a great game though. hard and tough and quick. Their forwards were a handful. Not their fault that umpiring is incompetent and inconsistent. But they got the rub today
I can only recall Rankine's touched mark/goal. But that's a bit of an iffy one as it's a difficult rule to officiate. However the 50 was definitely there.

I think if you asked the neutrals who got kissed on the **** tonight, most would say Hawks. That's just my opinion though.
Don't kill me pls.

Waent to bed at half time, looks like it was a fine game overall. Both sides showed a bit of ticker and skill.

Great for the Crows to beat a bogey side, Hawks absurdly big balls to take the lead twice against what looks like a better list on their own deck.

Two in form teams, might meet again in finals.

After years of watching #freekickhawthorn in finals against us you want to complain about 1 or 2 frees in a home and away game? Come on

Also frees for the first qtr was hawthorn 8 to Adelaide 4.

You saw Lewis chose to play on and soccer it into the post and they recalled it yeah?

was great to see both teams cracking in and going for the win.
Adelaide played that final quarter very well and kicked there set shots

What's the story line around Walker that's so feel good Hudson is referring to ? From 2017 captain to known racist ?
Maybe the way he captained the club to the finals the same year the coach who appointed him was murdered? Funny how people outside Adelaide forget that ever happened.

He's about to become a 300 game/700 goal player. He's looked cooked at various stages over the last 5 years, now playing close to his best footy at age 35. Played his last final eight years ago, has stuck with the club through the rebuild and until this year looked like he might never play another final.

So yeah, objectively I think most people would think it would be a bit of a fairy tale for him to go out winning a flag.

He made 1 mistake and paid for it.
How many racist incidents has your club had again?

Hawthorn kicked 7 goals from free kicks and you are still crying???

If a player plays on, it's not the prerogative of the umpire to sit on it and give a 50 because of his laziness/ineptitude. Just have the humility to accept you were gifted an undeserved goal.

Learn the rules. Until the umpire calls play on, you can’t move towards the player.

The great thing is it happened to the King of Flogs, James Sicily.

All the best for the rest of the year.

Unsurprising when recent history says otherwise #freekickhawthorn, which actually was a thing.

Gunston second free kick goal in the last quarter, the umpire makes reference to seeing the second free kick against Keane and totally ignoring the first which was Gunston holding Keane and yet the umpire totally ignores.

And the audacity of Hawks fans complaining.

Unfortunately the umpires are inconsistent and bad with every team, the whole umpiring system needs an overall.

Footy is really hard to umpire. There will always be a couple incorrect calls in a game of football. I think the ones that were incorrect last night were all justifiable as to how the umpire made those calls.

Last night was a great game of footy between two quality sides. It had everything, momentum swings, high scoring, close finish, great atmosphere. If people can’t just enjoy that and accept that umpire errors are a part of sport, particularly a sport that is as chaotic and at times confusing as ours then maybe footy isn’t for them.

Yeah. Melbourne. The place everyone in Aus thinks of when they think ‘civil behaviour’.

Good call. 🙄 😂

Guess you've never been to a match in Melbourne. People don't yell "BALL!" the moment a player is tackled without prior. They don't start yelling for 50 when there was neither anything done to merit it, nor the umpires' body language indicating they're going to pay it. And, most importantly, they don't jeer apparently injured players going off. The attacks on Will Day last night were a disgusting example of why nobody likes your ugly football culture.

You are kidding yourself. Genuinely delusional. Its nationwide. I live in Regional Vic and attend probably 30+ matches a year. Its chronic.

Most don't, the few peanuts are notable for their stupidity. The majority of yours do.

More to the point though, Crows and Power crowds are nasty and clueless. Anyone who's been to a close game in Adelaide knows this. Getting abused on the street after games because your team lost just doesn't happen in Melbourne (or anywhere else for that matter). I get why it happens (one city with two footy teams defining its identity). And it's notable you didn't address the biggest reason for what I said about your supporters being undesirables, taunting injured players with a long history of injury.

All the best for your campaign. You'd want to hope you're playing Brisbane or Gold Coast if you want to win on the MCG.
