I've been sanguine about most of the players we've lost in the past, but this one stings for some reason. We actually managed to pick a NSW player with potential, develop her, she got good, and she wants out... just kinda sad.

This seems like a good deal, always rated her, just seems like she couldn't break into the Brisbane side post injury this year. Tall and strong gal.

How's the GWS announcement:

Boltz bolsters a young but formidable GIANTS backline, adding plenty of strength in contests and endurance, adding a strong run-and-carry option to partner Cambridge McCormick on the arc.

They ain't giving up McCormick yet.
If they do end up keeping her, we'll be pretty stacked with defenders. Wonder if TLR could play midfield and release Zarlie further forward?

Hawthorn is holding out for a first-round pick to be involved in trade talks for former captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd, though the GWS offer has only involved a future second-round selection so far.

yeah that seems a little unders.
They've sure got me paying attention to the trade drip feed this year.

Interesting you mentioned Pease as apparently it would have been a three team trade with Pease going to north, and Tarrant to us and picks to Sydney.
