Based on Geelongs performance the last couple of weeks & our performance over the same period, anything other than a win will be very disappointing.

Geelong have been struggling to score (averaging 25 points a match, against our 42). Geelong have been moving the ball well through the middle, but the ball is coming straight back out. I’d be expecting a lot of ball for Gabbie Pound off halfback, so as long as we move the ball forward well we should be in for a pretty comfortable win.

Every match, our style and ball movement has improved significantly, but there is still lots of upside, Bri is clearly slowly working her way back into it (her best position is in the guts, leave her there, NM was a mistake too much time forward), Bri clears a path for the likes of Gee and always seems to be able to have time.

Geelong don’t have a natural matchup for Tayla, her winning her tribunal is massive, expect a few goals.

Real opportunity for Carlton to stamp there authority on group B, with Brisbane playing WB at Whinten Oval, there is a huge chance for the women to be a game and a chunk of % clear on top with only 3 more matches to play before finals. Finishing top of group b will be massive as it will most likely mean Freo traveling to Princes Park, big opportunity to cause an upset & they should get a huge crowd as it will be in the clear air between the JLT and round 1.

Carlton by 34 points

Best possible changes really. It's good to see us learning from our mistakes and structural issues at the selection table. No doubt Moody and Bentley will fight their way back into selection contention, while Emerson Woods seems another likely debutant this year.

This is a team that can hold its own, so hopefully we start notching up a few more wins and qualify for the finals.
