Cleary should have been sin binned in that set of 6. He gave away the 3rd consecutive 6 again during that set. It was the most cynically defended set you'll ever see.

The blues were never going to lose the challenge because the tackler has no earthly reason to still have his hand on the ball by that stage which in itself should be enough to get a six-again but f**k I wish they would start putting some onus on ball carriers not just letting the ball go

Agreed, but it’ll be interesting to see if the media all agree given they were all up in arms a few weeks back when a nearly identical situation was given a penalty and sin bin.

It’s half time in a game his team have dominated and he’s made 28 metres. Hes thrown a great pass in a backline movement that featured 3 of them and it’s basically been, along with one particularly strong front on tackle, his involvement to date.
