Another Heavy "D" highlight.

Amazing what he can do and stay on the list.

Training had been going for about a hour and was in to the Orange V Blue stage. There as a group of 6 doing some drills off to the side not involved for one reason or another.

Heavy "D" lumbers over out of breath ripping the orange jumper off and summoning Pratty. He mustered up enough strength to throw the jumper to the kid and tagged out.
He joined in the stand still and kick to kick and excelled at it. We have found somthing he can do - kick the balls back to the players having shots at goal. There even maybe a spot with the seniors doing this at the warmup before games as that is the only way he will grace the grounds like MCG Colonial, Etc.

This is getting beyond a joke now.

Get used to playing at Coburg and the like and see how much you can steal from a Country Football Club next year. You have done everything you can do. Move on.

How is his form! Some of his antics yesterday were so pathetic, immature and embarrassing - we all know he does not want to play anymore but if he is not injured he has no choice and must play. I am so glad he was benched for a childish infringement, which I must say, he was smirking during and after he did it so it really didn't suprise me that he was benched for the rest of the game. He could not make it more obvious that he couldn't give a toss. Give him the arse and give the senior spot to someone that deserves it!

grrrh u know wot makes me sick...ppl compare him to RiCkY coz of the whole Bomber thing but here u have some bloody dickhead who is lucky enough to be taking up a spot on an AFL list and whos fortunate enough that he's not injured yet he doesnt even want to be there then u got blokes like RiCkY who would give anything to be injury free and kickin ass out there hmm i used to feel sorry for Calthorpe with all this bagging but after yesterday at the ressies i realise wot a joke it really is

Anyone who has seen the MKs over the last couple of weeks will know this already, but for those who haven't come along to watch them in action, let it be said now that Calthorpe's form and attitude at the moment doesn't even justify a spot in the reserves (MKs).

Saw him down at Geelong running the boundary... not following instructions.... obviously he hasn't changed his attitude at all...

He must have a water tight contract that allows him to do what he wants... this contract end at the end of this season... from what I can remember...

I impulsively let it fly after this particular episode & screamed out, "YOU'RE A ******G EMBARASSMENT TO THE CLUB, CALTHORPE!" He was only a few metres away & I know he heard me.

I can also vouch for Doc, he too gave the fat bastard a spray so Malibu & Hilts, the challenge set last week was sucessfully met.

I'm trying to think up one now for you guys in Lavington this week.

Calthorpe is too easy a target though so we'll make it something else.

With the chance of a larger croud than usual for our Murray Roos befor the main game. Heavy "D" has done us a favour and given us every hope that he may miss a couple of weeks.

This will save us some embarasment as we all know how smart the Carlton fans are.

Lets hope he gets a stiff sentance for our sake.

The only way to really punish him would be to take away his gold cards for all of teh fast food joints in the country.

Actually, I'm sure the only reason he isn't playing well anymore is that they took the golden arches off the ball - you know that's the only reason he chased it.

Maybe we could dangle a burger in front of his face to entice him to run (waddle, lumber etc). Or a reward for every possession. Come on all of you fast food franchises, helpl us out!!

He looked like such a big fat boombalada when he was running the boundary after he was benched. He had his jacket on and he looked huge with these chunky hairy, hairy legs popping out from under it - EEEEEEWWWWWW.

I later inspected the ground where he had been practicing his sprints (for the fast food outlets) and much to my non-surprise a long cavity now exists along that side of the ground.

Unfortunately for us, Heavy D copped a fine instead of suspension for his 'swearing' last Sunday in Lavington - we will have to watch the Great Southern Stand shaking when he's trying to run along the boundary......

This goal umpire played it by the book, HDC dropped the magic word once and got reported for it........he's probably spewing coz the fine money was going to pay for his greasy burgers!

That's bull********, how does he get away with this crap?

Not being able to see any of our training sessions or the MK's play, I can only take in what you guys report.

With our club priding itself on discipline and being renowned for it, surely someone will pull him into line.......or maybe the club will see the season out and then tell him to piss off and don't come back. (I bloody hope so!)

Another game another half on the bench. It it possible that he will quit or is that just me wanting it.

Ok the ball was just out side of the 50 m arc for Carlton on the ground with 1 Carlton player and Heavy "D" and # 51 Thommo?

Both players persued the ball with gusto and then Heavy "D" looked to see the Half his age Thommo running towards the ball but from further away so he slowed up the ball was picked up by the Carlrton player and chipped to a lead and then resulted in a goal.
Heavy "D" then screamed at Thommo for not stopping the player from getting the ball as he watched it all happen.

It took till half time for The Hammer to take this joke from the field but they did see that he is about as helpfull as a rubber shovel. And that this cannot keep going on.

It amazes me what he does and stays on the list.

I reckon this has turned into a battle of wits between Calthorpe and the coaching staff.

Calthorpe is doing so little, that he is trying to get himself sacked, therefore being paid out in full.

Hamilton is benching him for entire quarters (and halves), trying to get Calthorpe fed up (pardon the pun) and making him retire out of frustration.

Hmmm.
