Makes sense, nowhere near the same talk as guys like Hill, Steven etc despite the high profile. Apart from Browne, no one really talked about it - for all the hate journos get, I still remember they were onto Mitch McGovern when player, club, and manager all denied it.

Must have been interest from only 1 side of the equation (i.e. opposition clubs) with Essendon and Tippa focusing on the finer points of the details, it just got dragged out.
