While were on the topic what are the peoples thoughts of the value of these players and what do they offer in terms of our club;
Tristian Walker - might attract some attention from a struggling club and get us a 2nd or 3rd rounder in the draft
Shane Woewodin and Tarkyn Lockyer - obvious reasons and if we can get something better that would add value to us.
Chad Morrison- wouldnt have picked him up in the first place, has nothing going for him
Ryan Lonie - might help us secure a deal on something, add some value at the trade table, good in his first 2 seasons at the club, great left foot but cant see him in our best 22 when the kids like egan, t.cloke, h.o'brien etc develop

Why do people think that a contract keeps you at a team. All it means is that you are guaranteed income. The club that trades you, trades your contract or part thereof. That is why club's only offer 2 years as it means they are only committed financially to an individual for a short term but can also trade after one year.

Agreed, but the fact is very few on contract do get traded.

Well we've gone fantastically well since McKenna has arrived.

* He was an ordinary coach at WAFL level taking Claremont - a strong club - to a mediocre 5th in 2003.
* He came here, we've won 13/44 since he has taken over the backline.


Surely something in there would say he ain't all that great.
