Ashes 3rd test @ The WACA

Looks like a bit of rain is forecast for Sunday and Monday.
Might not matter the way England have lost wickets. I was one predicting a 3-1 result for the Poms but other than bowling out Australia for 130 odd, they have been disappointing. Now Root questioning Anderson's handling of some nobody pouring a beer over him. Cracks appearing all over the place.

Storm predicted over quickly hopefully and fines up most likely .

Its weird enough having rain in Perth this time of year. Its only ever been HOT the few times I have been over to the west this time of year.

Morning all. Weather is beautiful over here.

Hopefully this match fixing scandal doesn't disrupt our momentum, I expect the English to come out hard this test. Another must win toss.

Waiting for the cricket to start and editing my youtube video.

Not really - it's a road.

So you’d like to field first?

This. Couldn’t think of anything more boring to watch than is fielding when it’s a road...well done WACA go out in style with a road

I would be really pissed off if any Aussie players were involved in that type of crap .

Doubt it. I think it's all talk to get people to make bets with them.

just looking through M Marsh's stats for WA in 2017 and he's actually had a very good month with the bat. However he has taken FA wickets, and simply doesn't warrant selection as a bowling-all rounder. Stick with a winning team and play Handscomb I say; esp on a pitch he can play himself back into form.

Only bowled 22 overs for the season?

Had a shoulder operation and only bowled in the last two games played, the first of which was only in the 2nd innings.

Ok just looking through the scorecards, and can now see Marsh wasn't actually bowling in several of the Shield matches this year -- so pretty much hasn't had a chance to prove himself. Which is even more baffling that he's likely to play today.

beat me to it. Thanks for that. So why are they picking a bowler who's taken 2 wickets and has been injured?
From what I have gathered, he will be there as extra support to the bowlers if need be as the pitch is considered flat as it has been for the shield games, but who can also provide batting support. Handscombe does't have the bowling ability of Marsh so they have gone down that path.

makes perfect sense until I found out he's barely bowled this year. Just doesn't deserve a spot here. 3 quicks, as per Adelaide and Brisbane, will get the job done.
